TL;DR - This How I Met Your Mother series finale was... to put in one word: Unexpected. I cant believe its been 9 years since I started this show, and there are so many events and experience with the show that have even contributed to many of my current friendships and personality traits. So, the finale. No, I wont post spoilers, so here it goes: Im sure theres a lot of people that are annoyed with this season and how it turned out. Sure, they had to cram a decent amount of experiences and events within this final season to properly end the show, but to be honest... this is one of the best ways they could have done it. I am amazed, and just flat out impressed with how this show evolved from just 5 friends always hanging out together to a show about the actual life events that they go through, and how they transcend the situations to stay close to each other. This last episode hit me right in the feels, and threw a lot of stuff at me that I didnt expect. But, Im so happy that I saw this show through to the finish. Fantastic job, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. Fantastic job.
