***********TO ALL REBORNERS AND COLLECTORS*********** *********PLEASE READ********THIS IS IMPORTANT************** *******I SHOULD NAME AND SHAME BUT I WONT************* I am so angry at the moment I was going to keep my mouth shut and not worry about it but being who I am I cant do this to my Customers, and I might be putting a few noses out of joint but I am hoping they know who I am talking about and get their act together and start doing a better job, a professional Job!!!!!! When you buy a Baby from me you get a beautiful baby with hair that has taken me what seems like forever to do because I sit here from 7:30pm till sometimes 3am every night and sometimes during the day after lunch say 1pm till 4:30 when I need to get dinner done Why? because I need to have it done as perfect as I can, the way I do it might not be from the ends but it is still 1 hair at a time taken down and placed in a pattern that makes the hair overlap each other (a Brickwork pattern) and with QUALITY PREMIUM GOAT MOHAIR from DELTA DAWN or SLUMBERLAND ( Expensive but the best quality) then once it is done I use a Clear Water proof GLUE and once it is dry I then cut and style the babys hair then all of my limbs are filled to just above the knee with Clear GLASS beads then finished with the pollyfill untill I cant put anymore in then sometimes depending on the style of Body I am using I will seal the limbs with felt, then once the glue on the felt is dry I assemble your baby using *******a SOCKING filled with GLASS beads tied then covered with the same stocking to give it strength and tied again for the tummy then Pollyfill to surround it until tummy is filled firmly NOT over stuffed or Under stuffed then I fill the head with a STOCKING with a smaller amount of GLASS beads tied then covered with the same stocking to give it strength and tied again a third time just to make sure then Pollyfill is placed inside their DRY head then socking then filled with more Pollyfill then once that is done I do the cable ties all limbs are as tight as I can do them and the Head is tied almost tight so you can still move the head from side to side with a tiny bit of force then I cut the cable ties as close as possible so there are no sharp parts and then gently push the tie end back inside the body so no Cables are showing now Baby is completed, weighed, measured and last photographed. This is how I have received many Awards Because I care for my work, I dont make the Babies for Profit I make them because I love Reborning and it makes me feel good to know that I might be making someone else Happy, now after that novel this is why I am so bloody angry........... Over the last few years I have had a few of my customers asking if they can fix a baby that they have bought from someone else and look it dont worry me I am fine with that it is actually a compliment, sometimes I charge a small fee sometimes I dont it depends on the job at hand anyway the last 9 or 10 I think it is I have been quite shocked at what I have found inside these Babies that are from SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS who dont charge as much as me but are still expensive who do shoddy work with their Babies, Coloured Sand in very thin Plastic bags YES PLASTIC SANDWICH BAGS and the Glue they use is not glue it is Industrial FILLER you know that yellow stuff that expands when you squeeze the tube YES FILLER the limbs and head are way OVER WEIGHTED which will eventually stress the joints on the body causing them to break away UNDER STUFFING them so they can be posed easier NO WAY! you can feel the bag of beading in them they need to be stuffed properly, OVER STUFFING them so they look like bloated cows, this isnt a joke reborners Get your act together People who buy your Babies expect quality Babies that will last for a long time that they can pass down as Heirloom dolls not a doll that will go in the Bin in a few years if they make it for that long. Seriously Do the right thing for your Customers it dont COST much more money and TIME to do quality work. Sorry if I have offended anyone but it needed to be stated now for those who know who you are fix your nose back in place and do it right!!!!!
