While SAMRO is Killing South Africa House DJs and SA music as a whole. Look at the brighter side here, these Djs who have to pay a fee for each tracklist(mix) as well as playing music for promotional use. It bad,coz the music is flowing through FILE sharing (PROMO/free links), DJs promote your music by playing them at the clubs,parties and everywhere,such Registration should be regarded only if a DJ is playing live set on TV coz that where the money is. Look Not everyone really buys music these days,releasing your music on retailing stores such as Traxsource and iTunes is to promote yourself and acting a little bit professional especially for South african House music producers,if you happy about this SAMRO decision DJ?? Whos going to play your music,the number of Djs is going to decrease,do you know for this decision it could be SA House music downfall. And HIP HOP will take over. SAMRO is not only killing House music but South African music artist and music business. Did you know SAMRO no longer even take CDs or Keep a copy of your composed song,they only keep your tracks info,so anyone can come and Register your song and says it his/hers so it will be difficult to lay charges/take that person to court coz even samro wont be there,Do you even have money for Court case?? No. SAMRO is Bull. All artist must Register to RISA and get themselves a proper Music publisher(I.e EMI,Sheer & AndaSoul). I saw SAMROs list it Bullsh** some call it business,SAMRO has been Business since forever,Get yourself a proper music publisher sooooooon. This is a downfall of House music #What_for?
