TODAY is the International March for #Elephants! Our Founder Dr Dame Daphne Sheldrick DBE has explained to the The Huffington Post why thousands have joined the movement to protect elephants! She writes: As long as any trade in ivory remains, legal or illegal and global or domestic, elephants will continue to be cruelly killed for their tusks. If we want to save elephants, we must act now and the International March for Elephants aims to draw attention to this crisis and call for immediate global action to protect the worlds largest land mammal. Today, we are at crossroads for the future of wild elephants.
