TODAY was my Lucky day.. Had to drive my MLady to her Docs office this morning, and as shed be occupied for bout an hr, I decided to drop by a lil antique shop wed seen earlier in the week. To make a long story short, no sooner than walking in, I spotted a lil hand-crank 1880s Jones Cat-Back Serpentine gathering dust in a lonely corner near a dress-makers form. Her decals were a bit worn, so she was marked down to $40. per the store owner. She cranked easily, her boat shuttle w/bobbin, and all other parts were still there, n her cloth and face plate, though tarnished, should clean-up nicely when she gets her bath, a lil oil, n a polish.. Yep, twerent a bad day, if I say so myself.. :) ps: pardon the pics, my camera phone was gettin weak, along with the lights in my office when we got home, as it was getting a bit dark outside.
