TODAYS FULL OF DELICIOUSNESS: • Yokna Bottoms Farm: An assortment of potatoes, onions, kale, collards, cabbages, beets, herbs and flowers. • Welcome Valley Farm: Mr. Pepper returns with local vine-ripened tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, green beans, sweet candy onions, potatoes, eggplant, carrots and beets. • Canebrake Farm: Charlie will have Savoy cabbage, Napa cabbage, basil, oregano, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, and fresh eggs. • Sunlight Springs Organic Farm: Daniel is bringing certified organic rattlesnake green beans, beets, red lasoda potatoes along with fingerling potatoes and other items in smaller quantities. • Native Son Farm: Native Son is back with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, basil, zucchini, garlic, and kale. • Mudline Farms: Mudline Farms, a new farming operation from Water Valley, will be holding its weekly CSA distribution. Stop by and talk to Melissa about her CSA produce. • St Bethany Fresh: Local vine-ripened tomatoes, long English seedless cucumbers, and mini euro seedless cucumbers (aka kids cukes). Great sliced with hummus! • Cherry Creek Orchards: Local peaches, blackberries & blueberries. • Pontotoc Ridge Blueberry Farm: Blueberries, jellies, and possibly more. • Browns Farm: Leonard Brown from Water Valley brings an ARRAY of fresh organic herbs (and soon, mushrooms) to tickle your taste buds. Please come welcome him and his nephews to OXCM! • Wild Goose Gardens: New vendor! Terri is bringing sweet corn, blueberries and new potatoes. She brings her sweet corn in a refrigerated truck so it stays fresh and crisp! • Brown Family Dairyand Stans Country Store: **Billy Ray is on a well-deserved vacation this week, so no milk or pork this week. Hell be back next Tuesday. For Browns Dairy milk and pork this week, go to the Farmers Market store on North Lamar where they always have both in stock. • Robertson Farm: Farm fresh local eggs from OPDs own Chris Robertson, plus okra & green beans. • Patti Belles Produce & Seafood: Jonathan has a great special this week: shucked oysters by the pint for $12.50! Hell also have assorted shrimp for the crustacean lovers. • M&J Farms: Christy and Marie will have assorted fruit jams and jellies, chocolate sauce, white and wheat bread (now even pre-sliced for your convenience), and pizza crusts. This week they introduce their new line of peach jams: Peach, Chipotle-Peach, Jalapeño-Peach, Sweet Basil-Peach, Bourbon-Peach and Peach-Honey Butter made with Mardis Honey. • Mardis Honey: Delicious, local honey from Taylor, MS. Put it in your tea, your baked goods, your oatmeal... its good for you! • Ya Yas Yummies: Angela will have nine different jellies, jams, and preserves including peach preserves & a new triple-berry sugar free preserve. Shes also bringing dip mixes, baking mixes, pepper jellies, chow chow, mild and hot salsa, strawberry bread, orange juice pound cake, yeast rolls, yeast bread, and white chocolate macadamia cookies. • Lizzys Creative Kitchen: Lizzy is back with zucchini blueberry bread, assorted fried pies, cinnamon rolls, and other breads and treats; organic beeswax candles; cleaners; and wool dryer balls. • The Spicy or Not Veggy: will have assorted Jams & Jellies, Regular No Heat Salsa and Habanero Salsa. Come try their Gluten Free Cookies & Gluten Free Pound Cake! • Rock Solid Pen Company: Local artisan John McMillan hand-turns custom ballpoint pens, pencils, and fountain pens out of native Mississippi wood and exotic woods from around the world, plus a few special ones from acrylic and deer antler (found, not killed) sources. Theyre beautiful - come see! • Cottons Cafe: Janet will have all natural organic dog treats for healthier, happier dogs.
