TODAY’S WORD: 27th March, 2014 Job 8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Unlike the devil that forces his opinion and will on people, God is not in the habit of compelling man to do anything he wants him to do. For example, He says in His word to us through John …Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (III John 1:2). What John said here which is what God is saying is that, it is my desire that you prosper, I have set my heart to it and I will make all things available for you to prosper. But the question whether you’ll prosper or not now depends on you. Our text for today has this same message. It says (paraphrasing) even though your beginning was small, you are not permitted to remain small; your latter end SHOULD greatly increase. God has made available everything you may need to change your status; He has given us the Word, the Spirit and above all His love to prosper by. II Peter 1:3-4; According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Deuteronomy 30:19; I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. Where you are coming from should not determine where you should be today. Before you NOW is blessing and cursing, arise, chose to succeed and act it to become it. Pray with me: Father, I refuse to remain small, help me to harness everything you have provided for my upliftment in Jesus name.
