Adelaide-based twin-guitar band-name-smiths Yeayeahabsolutelynoway! and genre-defying local heroes Slowpoke Rodriguez blow the roof off Foundry616 for Jazzgrooves weekly double-whammy of awesome! But first, a word from our newly elected fearless leader, Paul Derricott: Welcome to Jazzgroove 2014/15! We have been busy preparing our brand new committee behind the scenes and you will get to meet them all here over the next few weeks - in print and in person at the door of Foundry616 for our traditional Tuesday Night Double bill. I am the new President of Jazzgroove, and it is very exciting to be involved with the organisation in its 17th year…but it is not without peril. Jazzgroove aims to provide a space and environment for artists and audiences to coalesce. We want every person that comes to a Jazzgroove event to see the world through a changed lens after leaving and for the world to be a better place for it. We want to give you the best of music. Not just the best music but the best of music. I want you to know what burns the fire that keeps us on our knees giving to this thing. Come down on a Tuesday and you will at least catch a glimpse of what that is. Maybe it will consume you.
