TONONOKA WARD registered voters and Mombasa county voters as a whole should RECALL MCA for incompetence; Tononoka ward registered voters should ASAP start the drive to recall their MCA SAAD FARAJ. Saad Faraj who is also CHAIR OF BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION Committee at the Mombasa county assembly should be impeached and recalled for failing the people of Mombasa county as a whole in the below areas; 1. In the recent report dated 22 Sept 2014, the controller of budgets gave a damning report on Mombasa county which stated that , Mombasa county government was unable to spend the funds appropriated for development and only managed to used 2.4%, this means that 97.6% of the money allocated for development in Mombasa county went UNUSED! Saad Faraj as chair of the budget and appropriation committee has the daunting task to give Mombasa residents an explanation as to why and how this happened, failure to which impeachment and recalling process should start on him immediately. 2. On 23 Sept 2014 , the same Tononoka MCA Saad Faraj, gave a statement in a video form, THREATING to MOBILIZE wananchi to deal with MPs and other mashinani leaders who are opposed to the referendum calls. As an elected leader he should know that there is freedom of choice and speech and political tolerance for any difference that may arise on any issues, and he should desist from using such threatening language which might bring about chaos. In view of the above, Tononoka MCA has shown incompetence and lack of leadership qualities and should be impeached and recalled with immediate effect.
