TOP 10 CHELSEA LEGEND. 10) Gianluca Vialli The Italian striker brought flair and panache to the Premier League when he arrived from Serie A giants Juventus in 1996. He scored 40 times in 88 appearances, and went to manage the club - winning the 1998 League cup, the 1998 Cup Winners Cup and the 2000 FA Cup in a highly successful two year stint. 9) Petr Cech Remarkably, when Cech joined in 2004, he wasnt even supposed to be the no.1 at Stamford Bridge, but established keeper Carlo Cudicini got injured, and the Czech stopper has never looked back since. He quickly established himself as the leagues best goalkeeper, and has been a cornerstone of Chelseas multiple league and cup triumphs ever since. 8) Roberto Di Matteo The little Italian confirmed his legendary status by scoring the fastest goal ever scored in an FA Cup final in 1997, when the Blues beat Middlesbrough 2-0. He went on to make 119 league appearances, before leading them to Champions League glory in 2012 as manager! 7) Dennis Wise Signing for a club-record fee of £1.6m from Wimbledon, Wise went on to play for Chelsea for 11 years, captaining them for five of these in a stint that saw him make 352 league appearances. Rarely has an English midfielder been so combative and committed to the cause, and Blues fans fell in love with his never say die attitude from the very start. 6) Marcel Desailly One of the best centre-backs the Premier League has ever seen, without question. The Frenchman, who racked up over 100 caps for France, was a genuine rock in Chelseas backline during his stint at the club between 1998 and 2004. As composed on the ball as he was mean in the tackle. A true Premier League legend. 5) Claude Makelele The little Frenchman was so good, he got a position named after him! The battling midfielder shone in the Makelele role just in front of the defence, and was a vital reason Jose Mourinho won two consecutive Premier League titles when he joined the club. 4) Didier Drogba Because of his irritating on-pitch exploits, the Ivorian became every opposition fans least favourite player, but Chelsea supporters adored him for his regular habit of scoring in cup finals. Drogba bagged the equaliser in the Champions League final, then notched the winning penalty too! A more powerful Premier League striker has probably never existed. 3) Frank Lampard From midfield, Lampard has become Chelseas all-time leading goal scorer. For the past decade, the Englishman has made a wonderful habit of arriving late in the box, and finishing superbly. In 605 appearances (at the time of writing) hes scored 205 goals. Phenomenal. 2) Gianfranco Zola One of the original foreign Premier League superstars. Zola was a magician with the ball at his feet, and wowed Chelsea fans week in week out with beautiful freekicks, mesmerising chips and spellbinding flicks at the end of the nineties and early noughties. 1) John Terry Captain fantastic, or JT as he is affectionately known at Stamford Bridge, has skippered Chelsea to three Premeir League titles, numerous FA and League Cups, a Europa League and a Champions League (although he famously didnt play in the final.) His no-nonsense style, and his true commitment to the cause has made him every Chelsea fans favourite player. Terry is a brilliant captain, and has been one of the worlds best defenders over the past decade. #tlaw
