TOPIC:- SHINING STAR MATT. 2:1-12.Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea:for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda:for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. 12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. Introduction: Some stars are born, made through influence of destiny helpers and while others are based on self discovery through personal development. - Some stars are prophetically motivated before their birth they are uready shining and after birth nobody can stop their shining except they deviate from the principles of shining. Example of Samson. - Some stars are noticed during growth processes. - Some stars due to personal commitment and development they begin to rise and shine in cadre of heroes. CHARACTERISTICS OF SHINING STAR ENEMIES 1. Always trouble to see shining star. Are you a shining star that your enemies has gather momentum to kill your star from shining through argument and thought provocation, please apply wisdom, caution, and patience till God will take you to the level where you will become a voice. 2. They are very inquisitive - love to hear details about you and your family be-careful because they value every information and process them to achieve their evil acts. - That close colleges, brother, sister and extended family that which to know every details about your life vision and mission watch out not to be the one that will destroy you through envy. 3. They work with caliber of people in the society e.g. Directors, Head of departments, Elders of your lineage/organization, Regional, Province, Zonal/area Pastor Pastor and the parishioners that are outstanding. They do these not to make mistake in their approach. 4. They lack peace as a result of they can go to any length by taking their time launch out to destroy. They are pretenders, showing delight in what youre doing in order to get your weak points. IF YOUR MOMENT OF SHINING HAS FINALLY COME WHAT WILL HAPPENED God will move on your behalf to do the following 1. To turn every monitoring agents of the enemies to be confuse and begin to work in your favour. 2. To guide the steps and the thought of all monitoring agents to do the following for you:- i. To rejoice and celebrate your success. At the peak of success loneliness could be a contributing factor for discouragement and frustration. ii. To worship you. It could means to respect, cooperate, honour and make you happy. Moment of eulogies in life of a man is motivating factor for result iii. To bless you. * Gold represent superiority and great wealth * Frankincense confirmed your personality as vessel of honour to occupy priesthood office. * Myrrh indicates that your service shall be acceptable to God like aromatic perfume. 3. He can changed the vision and mission of every monitoring agents towards you. Matt. 2:12.And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. IF I DISCOVER THAT I AM MONITORING AGENT TO STAR KILLERS; WHAT CAN I DO? 1. Obey divine instruction, change your vision and mission from enemies. 2. Be determine to identify and support any shining star you before you know it you will be proactive and people will begin to worship your star. 3. Stop walking and working within two camp (negative and positive) it makes one to be a loser and cloth with shame. Take note shining star get level - whatever be the position or level youre operating from; youre unique according to His and pleasure IF I AM A SHINING STAR WHAT CAN I DO? 1. Watch and pray. 2. Be focus. 1 Cor. 9:24. 3. Control your tongue. 4. Humble yourself. 5. Dont expose yourself unnecessarily. 6. Avoid any form of argument with your leader. 7. Be thankful to God and never be tempted to share His glory. PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, do every thing possible for my star to shine. 2. Father, help me not to be the killer of my star like Samson. 3. Father, let every move o monitoring agents move me to a glorious level. 4. Father, keep my enemies busy and begin to work for my favour. 5. Father, anyone that gather momentum and pitch their tents near me just to destroy me; please Lord expose and frustrate them. 6. Father, help me not to be a monitoring agent to my neighbours. 7. Father, let my shining star begin to overflow.
