TOPIC : CONQUER THAT GIANT TEXT : Joshua 14:12 BY : REV NTIA I NTIA CONQUER 1)overcome by force. 2)defeat by determination. 3)subdue or outwit by strategy. 4)obtain by overriding effort. 5)prevail by persistence. *the journey to destiny will bee confronted by giants. *if you are not ready for giant you are not ready for greatness. *anyone who is out to take his promised land must prepare to confront and conquer giant. *there is no promised future that will not be contested by giants. *that giants are facing you does not mean God has departed from you. *until there is a fight there can be no flight. *your movement might be limited but dont limit your mentality. *your placement determines your benefits. *those who give time for the wrong thing will have no more time for the right thing. *distraction is the pathway to delay n decline. *it is those who dont plan their time that has time for other peoples plan. DISTRACTION 1)giving attention to matters of no importance or relevance, 2)giving time and attention to those who do not matter to you. 3)giving time to something whose time has not yet come. 4)giving focus to things that has no care in your future. 5)pursuing a direction that will not lead to your destiny destination. GIANT 1)an adversary of massive seize or stature. 2)an attack of overwhelming proportion. 3)a resistance of great strength or force. 4)a conspiracy of vast magnitude and proportion. 5)an opposition of stubborn resistance. 6)a confrontation that targets an area of great importance or influence. CONQUER GIANTS OF 1)the giants of satanic attacks and battles. (john 10:10, Zach 3:2,luke 22:31-32,acts10:10,1peter5:8,rev.12:9,amos 6:1,2cor.10:4,Ephesians 6:10-12,James 4:7-8) *Satan your adversary is out to attack so give him no room. *refusal to fight Satan is an agreement to remain his captive. *Satan faces those who flee from him and flees from those who faces him. *just because the battle last long does not mean you have lost. 2)the giants of smallness and inferiority. (numbers 13:33, romans 12:2) *you are who God says you are irrespective of your natural status or placement. *your physical appearance is not the true identity of who you are. *how you see yourself in life, determines how others will see you. *no one can force upon you an identity you refuse or accept. 3)the giant of distraction and diverted attention. (songs of solomon 1:3) 4)opposition an intimidation. *any person in forward motion will face opposition *to overcome opposition maintain aggressive position or motion *those who surrender to opposition ends in regret. *opposition will try to stop you or slow you down but its you that decides if they can either stop or slow you down. 5)fear and intimidation. FEAR 1)fear is a spiritual prison that keeps people from attempting their possibility. 2)it is the poison the enemy uses in destroying potentials. 6)weakness and weariness. *it takes strength to rise to greatness *(Joshua 1:6, 2samuelv21:16) *every man is as strong as he believes he can be. 7)lack and insufficiency (2samuel 23:20-21) *do not let what you do not have stop you from using what you have. *if you use well what you have you will not really miss what you do not have. ADVICE 1)maintain connection with God 2)maintain the consciousness of who you are in God. 3)maintain your partnership with God. 4)maintain concentration to escape distraction. 5)maintain courage, confidence and strength in the face of opposition.
