TOPIC: MY WHOLE WORLD FELL APART MY wife and I have been married for five years. For the past 3 and a half years we have been trying to have a child. Then, one day, while at work, she became ill and called me to collect her. I took her to the doctor and we found out we were having a baby. Timeless, we were both so excited. My wife immediately began shopping for our little one and that made me such a happy man. Six months into the pregnancy my wife had a beautiful baby girl prematurely but she died a week later. We were devastated but I remained positive telling her that it was not her fault. Five months later my wife’s grandmother passed away and she began blaming herself for both deaths. Timeless, that’s when things went south. She became withdrawn and started talking about wanting to end it. This behaviour went on for six months and then it lifted. I was so happy because we can now get back to living our lives and try again. One morning I woke up to prepare breakfast and saw my wife with a suitcase dragging outside to put into a heavily tinted car. I ran and struggled with her demanding to understand what is going on. What happened next made me weak at the knees. As we were struggling, I heard the car door open and out stepped my step-father. He started shouting at me to leave her alone because she is in search of happiness and that she would be better off without me. I could not believe what I was hearing. My wife left with that man and told me to get a life! This is the same woman who I helped through her depression who just back-stabbed me? When I called my mother she was crying telling me that my step-father had just told her that he was moving out and that their relationship was over. Timeless these two brutes really played me for a fool. I have not yet gotten over it and have now hooked up with a young girl and as much as I try, I just want to get back with my wife, even if to dump her later. Am I unreasonable for feeling this way? Tell me soon because I plan to work her to the bone.
