TOWN HALL MEETINGS As you heard during Annual Gathering, we are coming to hear from you! Your Conference Staff and members of the Board of Directors will be touring the Conference to meet with you. We will be asking for your input as we evaluate the future direction of our Conference. These town hall meetings will will center around the following questions, but we will be open to other questions and input as well: Questions: What is the Conference doing well? What is the Conference NOT doing that it SHOULD BE doing? What is the Conference doing that it SHOULD NOT BE doing? Each of the Town Hall Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. The first round of Town Hall Meetings will take place this Fall at these locations: August 19 Community Congregational UCC of Los Alamitos August 26 First Congregational Church of Bakersfield September 23 First Christian Church in Las Vegas September 30 University City United Church in San Diego SPECIAL INVITATION TO AUTHORIZED MINISTERS: We invite our authorized ministers to attend a Pre-Town Hall Fellowship Gathering. These gatherings for authorized ministers will be held at 5:00 p.m. the day of the Town Hall Meeting. This will be a time for dinner and fellowship (no presentations). If you are an authorized minister and wish to participate in the Fellowship Gathering (at no charge), please send an r.s.v.p. email to Libby Tigner at [email protected] no later than the Saturday prior to the Town Hall event you will attend.
