TRAIL ACCIDENT: Last Saturday there was a very serious bike accident between two cyclists hitting head-on. Both were riding alone and hit head-on near mile marker 12.5 Both were knocked unconscious by the impact. One of cyclists regained consciousness and used his cell phone to call for help. They were taken to local hospitals. Preliminary Investigation indicates one of the cyclists was on the wrong side of the trail and the other was looking down instead of at the trail ahead.
