TRAINING DATES You are invited to attend Vinnies first training for 2014!! Training will be held in our training room at Suite 12/47 Baylis Street, Wagga. The dates are as follows: For everyone interested in participating in Vinnies programs: --> Saturday 26 April 2014 (times TBC - roughly 10.30am - 3.30pm) For those participating in the Homework Help, you will also be required to attend the Cultural Sensitivity Training: --> Wednesday 30 April 2014 5.30pm - 8.30pm *Please note those who are volunteering for the Homework Help, you are required to attend both training sessions. Saturdays training will include: an Introduction, Child Protection Training, Behaviour Management. Pretty important when working with children. The Cultural Sensitivity Training will be conducted by Deirdre who is the Manager of the Humanitarian Settlement Service - she is a legend in her field! She will make you feel so inspired to help these young refugee kids out. Look forward to seeing you then :)
