TRAINING OPPORTUNITY The Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation is accepting Letters of Interest from First Nation Members for the following training positions: TWO (2) CERTIFIED PESTICIDE TECHNICIAN TRAINEES The selected persons will participate in the Pesticide Technician trainee certification program through the community Species at Risk initiative. Training will take place during the week of September 9-13, 2013. Persons who successfully complete the training will receive certification and be eligible to be called upon to assist, when spraying is going to take place in the community. First Nation Members who are interested in receiving certification through this training initiative should submit a Letter of Interest marked “Pesticide Technician Trainee, ATTN: Connie Milliken” to the Administration Office Reception no later than Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. For more information, please contact Connie Milliken at the Administration Office at 519-786-2125.
