TRANSCRIPT Mildred Tassone: Anybody can search and it will come up, and then they can like it. Janice Blake: What if I post something, whose feed does it go on? Tom Jacoby: Oh, that changed. That changed last year. It used to be a lot of free advertising on Facebook. It used to go on everybodys feed. Over. Mildred Tassone: And now they are going to also, I read this today where they are going to give you the option to un-check. The thing is and this is where content comes in, so start building real content, and not worry about massive all-over. I really think if you focus on Pinterest . . . I think the basics are Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and Google Pages. Janice Blake:: I have two Facebook business pages. Do I need both of them, or should I just cut one out? Tom Jacoby: Dont take them down, just leave them. But you dont have to spend a lot of time on them. Personally, I think more is better, in terms of your exposure on the Internet. If I have an old website and I want to redo it. Im going to do an entirely new website. Leave the old one there, just not putting more time or effort into it. Janice Blake: Thats what somebody said. Mildred Tassone: Janice has one for your book, and then you have one as just your... Janice Blake: And then I have a personal one. Mildred Tassone: Yeah, thats your personal page. Tom Jacoby: The issue is kind of quality and quantity, right? Okay, quality first. Quality, sure you want to make that perfect video, but if you make five good videos on your way to making that perfect video, thats five good videos. Mildred and Janice: Yeah. Janice Blake: I have another Facebook page for my husband. Whatever I put on my personal page or my business page, I put on my husbands page. Tom Jacoby: Sure. Janice Blake: So is that duplicate content? Tom Jacoby: No. Youre sharing it. Sharing is good.
