TRANSITION TO FAIRNESS Time to create a local powered transition - TopicsExpress

TRANSITION TO FAIRNESS Time to create a local powered transition to sustainable equitable ways to use and create energy. I include money in that. Money is a form of transfer of energy, our labor and innovation and the value we create is manifest as currency. Are we using our energy wisely? Are we using our healthy working days of our lives which are in limited supply in a way that creates a sustainable healthy ecosystem for our families and our communities? If we spend our time working, and our money as consumers in places that respect the health of our families and planet then we are building a sustainable future. We could see a day when we dont have to beg giant corporations or politicians for a living wage. We will decide what value our own labor is worth and that of management and we as worker/owners will share our voices and time and rewards for our work. Whoever has a voice and vote in a business tends to reap the rewards. If only CEOs and shareholders have voices it is no wonder that almost all the gains of corporations go to CEOs and shareholders and the remnants to the workers. Its time to do things differently because we need a different outcome for the vast majority of citizens. Otherwise we will continue to have a consolidation of wealth and power and control in the hands of a few media giants, a few banking, energy and food production monopolies, and a few politicians. We are fighting for a voice and a fair vote in our lives. We cant continue to let the powerful few exploit workers and our natural resources for the benefit of the few at the expense of all life on the planet. We can make a living without making a killing, killing others in war or killing off our childrens future enjoyment of this beautiful Planet Earth. Maybe the start of having a greater voice is simply start using ours more together. transitionus.org/transition-town-movement
