TRUE STORY: The POWER of MISSING opportunities are TOO COSTLY!!! in 2005, My Network Marketing company was on the verge of retiring me for LIFE from having to work a job... while out and about one day, on my way back to my car near a plaza that had all kinds of different shopping stores and outlets.. I noticed this sharp gentleman getting out of his jaguar (clean!!!) nicely dressed with some shoes any King would spend a nice investment on... being trained to work with the BEST OF THE BEST.. the SHARPEST OF THE SHARPEST.. I HAD to approach this gentleman.. Hey sir, I have GOTZ to share something with you.. I work with sharp people like yourself.. Hold on a sec.. I dashed to my car and got a Success from Home Magazine that highlighted one of our Leaders who was rocking it in Memphis.. In fact this young lady went on to become the FIRST Six-Figure Earner in that market and went on to become a Millionaire Club Member (creating six-figure earners).. She had an article inside.. The CEO of the company was on the front page.. He noticed IMMEDIATELY before I could actually give him the gift.. Oh he replied, Thats Mr. __________, You mean (the name of the business I was in)?!? Me: Yes sir!!!! Whatcha know about Mr. ____________??, I asked.. He went on to tell me that he WAS involved a few years ago but quit because of a particular young lady was HARD in business.. she was this.. she was that.. (all qualities of a true leader by the way).. (at that time he didnt know I was about to show him this young lady at the time of the magazine printing).. as we conversed, I opened the book to show him... You mean THIS YOUNG LADY RIGHT HERE??!! You should have seen the look on his face... disappointment was an UNDERSTATEMENT... he paused in silence for a good sixty seconds.. look at me with that PAIN OF REGRET LOOK... See family, ONE store in particular that he was about to visit was a TITLE LOAN company.. he had his title in his hand covertly.. and put it in his back pocket as we spoke more in depth... suddenly he just gave me back the magazine in shock.. torn.... a defeated look.. a tear even surfaced.. he kindly gave me back my magazine, turned around and got back into his nice looking jag and drove away to never see him again.... I can only imagine the pain of regret he felt.. knowing he WAS at the right place at the right time surrounded by the right people but quit.. Only to see the very person he ran with had went on to succeed massively.. the deal is everyone who stayed with that young lady are all retired now.. Its amazing how we as people pass over opportunities repeatively (p.o.o.r.) Im almost certain he was having a financial tough time at that time obviously because he was about to pawn his title to a mans pride and joy... The moral of the story is this.. Opportunities dont go AWAY.. they will just simply pass YOU by... and dont EVER let ANYONE prevent you from pursuing your dreams..
