TRY THIS BENT OVER DUMBBEL ROWS Great exercise for creating thickness to the lats and also working all the postural muscles that support general function. Here I used a rack for support and kept my both feet parallel to each other on the ground, unlike the traditional dumbbell row. This will activate your core more, help strengthen your lower back and discourage any twisting through the hips. Take hold of the dumbbell, squeeze your shoulder blade in, pull your abs in tight then pull the dumbbell up but slightly back towards the hips, keeping the elbow in tightly. This will created more stress in the lats and less In the biceps. Squeeze and hold briefly at the top then lower slowly, allow the weight to stretch your lat without rounding your lower back. Perform as many clean reps as you can, when you it failure, drop your hand position down to the 1st level of the rack and use the rest pause technique to ensure the muscle reaches fatigue and is stimulated. Make sure you controll the weight and it doesnt control you. Forcus on feeling it in the target muscles, dont use more weight than you can handle.
