TRYOUT WEEKEND #1 IS HERE!!! Make sure you have filled out a tryout form online at dksportsacademy. Good luck to everyone who is participating and we look forward to seeing you this weekend. Tryout participants need to bring the following: - Hydration (It will be warm!!) - Baseball hat, jersey or shirt of some kind, pants, and cleats. - Any and all baseball equipment including bat, helmet, glove, and catching equipment if you are a catcher - A Great Attitude Parents please do the following to help tryouts go smoothly and quickly: 1) Refrain from coming on the fields at all times 2) Do not interrupt an evaluator and ask about the performance of your child and whether he will make the team or not based on his tryout. 3) Do not coach your child once he starts his tryout. Let the coaches instruct him on what to do and not do at that point. 4) Be on time or early if possible! 5) Sit back and relax and enjoy the show. Everyone has one job when they come to the field. You can be a coach, parent, player, or umpire. Things go bad when you start trying to play more than one of those roles!! We will stay on time with tryouts so please show up ahead of time to get warmed up and stretched as our main goal will be to get everyone ample time to be evaluated.
