TUESDAY TUNE It’s been a while coming, but finally Lanie Lane has returned with her first material since 2011’s triumphant debut album To The Horses. Her latest offering is ‘Celeste’ a warm and dreamy song that flows with gentle vocal hooks and sweet rolling guitars. Recorded in the intimate surroundings of the legendary Mangrove Studios with close friends, ‘Celeste’ is the first song to be released from Lanie’s forthcoming album Night Shade set for release 24th October through Ivy League Records. Whilst recently on a trip to Peru, Lanie and her friends took a day out to capture some absolutely breathtaking scenery which features heavily in her new video for ‘Celeste’. “We shot this video mostly in the Peruvian Andes. It features my dear friend Christina Fire-Mane and stop motion nature sculptures made in the Victorian Goldfields by myself and Jennifer King. Over the last few years, these women have encouraged me to discover through expression, a connection to my Celeste through an unwavering dedication to their own”
