#TXST FB: Mission accomplished. Texas State went down to Atlanta to face lowly Georgia State with two goals in mind: pick up win No. 7 and do it in convincing fashion. The Bobcats pulled off both with a 54-31 victory over the Panthers on Saturday afternoon inside the Georgia Dome. They were focused today, Texas State head coach Dennis Franchione said. They wanted this seventh win really bad. Weve got a good resume. When I compare us to other teams, I think we stack up well. It would be a tragedy to be denied (a bowl) two years in a row. Now the Bobcats (7-5, 5-3 Sun Belt) must wait to learn their bowl fate.
