*****TYPES OF PEOPLE ALLAH LOVES***** 1. Good Deeds – Doing what pleases Allah swt, for example, Reading Qur’an (Arabic and Translation), Helping the poor and needy etc – “Those who do good deeds” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:195) 2. Repenting – Asking Allah for forgiveness and never returning back to the sin – “Those who ask Him for forgiveness” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222) & “For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly (in repentance)[Surah Al Baqarah 2:222] 3. Purification – Ensuring one is not impure at all times, impurity can include eating haraam foods, intoxicants etc - Allah loves those who keep themselves pure and clean.[Surah Al Baqarah 2:222] 4. God-Fearing – This does not mean that you only fear Allah but you Love him..Just like you love your mother and fear that she will shout at you, it is in a similar way but Allah swt is our creator and must be the first one we love and the first we fear – “Those who are Allah-fearing” (Surah Imrân 3:76) 5. Steadfast - Those who are steadfast (Surah Imrân 3:146) 6. Trust – When you leave all your affairs to Allah, believing there is good in everything and to never lose faith in him – “Those who trust Him” (Surah Imrân 3:159) 7. Justice – You will enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, you will ensure justice in ‘all’ of your affairs, be it with family, friends, colleagues or yourself. “Those who act justly” (Surah Maida 5:42) 8. Striving – “Those who strive for His cause” (Surah Saff 61:4) 9. Following the Sunnah of the Prophet – “Those who follow His Prophet” (Surah Imrân 3:31)
