TYPHOON “RUBY” HAS INTENSIFIED FURTHER AS IT CONTINUES TO MOVE OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA. Location of eye/center: At 10:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon “RUBY” was located based on all available data at 860 km East of Surigao City (10.1°N, 133.3°E). Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 195 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 230 kph Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph.
