Tabinda Gani rape and murder case Director FSL and senior scientific officer recorded statements Handwara,Bha Abbas CNS: In the 2007 Tabinda Gani rape and murder case, the statements of the last two prosecution witnesses Director FSL Kashmir HC Baghat and senior scientific officer Shabir Ahmad were recorded on Wednesday before the Principal District and Sessions Judge Kupwara Muhammad Ibrahim. Principal District and Sessions Judge Kupwara Muhammad Ibrahim had summoned both the witnesses to appear before the court on 12th of June to record their statements. Both the FSL experts had submitted their forensic opinion before the court regarding the gang rape and murder 13-year-old Tabinda, a class 7 student, at Batpora in Langate Handwara. Meanwhile giving the details, Senior Public Prosecutor Ghuam Muhammad Shah told CNS that duo recorded their statements before the court. “All the witnesses of the case have recorded their statements and hopefully the accused will be indicted,” Shah said.
