Taekwondo Championships Set for Saturday at SPI Convention Centre South Padre Island, Texas, September 11, 2013— The American Mexican Taekwondo Association’s 11th Annual International T.K.D. Championship and the World Taekwondo Alliance’s 4th Annual Pan American Championship will take place on Saturday, September 14, at the South Padre Island Convention Centre, with competition starting at 9 a.m. Doors open at 8 a.m. and registration is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. “This kind of event demonstrates how individuals can harness inner strength and will power to accomplish goals,” said Grand Master Jung Lok Kim. Spectator admission is $7 per person, with children under 3 years entering free. The event is presented by Honorary President Grand Master Sang Min Cho and Tournament Director Grand Master Sung Hwan Kang and is expected to attract nearly 2,000 participants and attendees.
