Tajeldin Ahmed Arja has been detained incommunicado since 24 December 2013. He was arrested by the presidential security guards after openly criticizing both the Chadian and Sudanese presidents during a conference. He is at serious risk of torture and other ill- treatment. Tajeldin Ahmed Arja, a 26-year-old student and blogger was arrested on 24 December 2013 during a conference in Khartoum, Sudan, where he openly criticized President Deby of Chad and President Bashir of Sudan, holding them responsible for the atrocities committed in Darfur. Tajeldin Ahmed Arja was immediately arrested by the presidential guards and is now being held in incommunicado detention. He is at risk of torture and ill-treatment
