Take a moment to examine this amazing piece from Florencia. We think it is stunning. Living near the sea, hearing the sound of the waves inspired me to model in clay, the Resting Mermaid, representing how I feel in my internal world, laying relaxed over a marine shell taken from the pristine blue waters of the sea. Although warn out by the friction of sea water and rough sands, the shell still exists, containing small eggs that represent seeds that allow life to reproduce itself and become eternal. - Florencia
