Taking a pen to paper seems like an easy task, but often the most meaningful, life altering words are the ones expressed in a hand written letter. Simply opening the envelope and unfolding the pages fills us with excitement and when then last words have been read, we can refold the pages and tuck them away for another day. Although the letters may yellow and the edges may fray, a letter will be timeless. Here, Julieta Ferreira tells her Namibia Red Cross Story of how letters kept her families hope alive.
