Talk about EXPECTATIONS! Timi has being waiting for his 5th birthday since forever... Hes always wanted to take cough drops.. but the instruction says you got to be 5 years old, so hes being waiting to be 5 since he was 3 years old so he could take cough drops with mommy and daddy. Hes also being longing to take his cousins and friends out to Chuck e cheese to celebrate his birthday (Hes being talking about that since his 4th birthday)- talk about high expectations. He asked me in winter when fall would come since his birthday happens in fall, asked me same in spring then summer, now fall.... On the 31st of October, Timi comes to my bed in the morning to tell me its November 1st, his birthday month has finally come- well Timi, one more day then itll be November. hes being counting down all week long and in a few hours Timi will finally be 5! Yippee! I am excited for him and at the same time intrigued by dedication to a cause- his 5th year birthday of course! I mean even though I dont need to go on the 365 days anticipation of my birthday, I am rethinking pushing in more excitement and expectation of a beautiful future. Timi is challenging me to wake up expectant everyday, even if its for something as small as a cough drop. We old people just make life seem so boring sometimes.... ( permit me for calling myself old if you are older than me- at least Im not 5 years old). There should be something for us all to look forward to.
