Talk of Heaven......Part One Today I tried to focus on reading a book about Heaven written by a preacher. In the few pages that I was able to read (in the busy lunch room at my job) I realized that all people no matter what their title or creed, have different thoughts of what Heaven might be like. Of course Atheists believe that once you die THATS IT---ITS OVER. Anyway, the author said that he was taught in the traditional sense, after you die you will praise God in a church for the rest of eternity, which to him seemed really boring. He thought, whats the point? Im sure that God wants more for us than just praise. That to him seemed more like an eternal prison sentence... sitting in a church pew for billions of years. He then started to think of Adam and Eve and how they ruined it all for us. He wanted to dance through the garden of Eden and feel nothing but JOY, but Oh No, we couldnt get by that easy. LOL Anyway, I didnt really get any further than that. I will sure let you know the conclusion at a later date. Let me tell you about my version of Heaven (which might turn out to be similar to the authors). Heaven will be pure bliss and Love. God will be present in the sense of the feeling of Peace without the fear of evil to ruin it. Knowledge of exciting new things are abundant and felt as if you still had a body. You will have the gift of flight and go where ever you want. Example, you could go to different worlds and experience whatever they have to offer. It will be like being on a permanent VACATION.... Not a structured man made church. Yes, I believe that we will praise God continuously....but it will be felt through a Love that we know nothing about in this tainted world. These are my thoughts and they help me to live through this life on earth as a Human. We are NOT here for our own personal gain. We are here to try and Love and Forgive and to have Appreciation for the small bits of Goodness that our lives contain. The Human Experience is a lesson, the school of life, which is only another experience for our Eternal soul. Part Two ...... The conclusion of the book I am reading. What are your thoughts of Heaven?
