Talyn had a great 1st swim meet last Saturday. He finished 3rd in his heat (6kids/heat) in the freestyle, back stroke, and butterfly. He finished 1st in his heat in the breast stroke. In each event there was 3 separate heats and overall places were based off of time. The top 6 places received ribbons. He took 6th place overall in the freestyle and 1st place overall in the breast stroke. His Great Grandpa Berne (in Heaven) sure must be proud of him as he was a Wisconsin State Breast Stoke Champion. To top the week off he received the Terrific Kid Award at school, has all As and one B on his progress report, and scored 2 out of 3 goals in his soccer game shut out today. Very proud Dad!!!
