Tammy S. Alejandro, age 45, died on Friday, March 7, 2014 after a sudden illness. She was born on May 23, 1968 in Indianapolis to James R. and Dorothy F. (Lawson) Monroe. She is survived by her husband, Angel Alejandro of Indianapolis; parents, James and Dorothy Monroe of Indianapolis; brothers, Rich and Chris (Christina) Monroe both of Indianapolis; a niece, Kaylee Monroe of Indianapolis. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services - Indianapolis, 1604 W. Morris Street. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Alejandro can be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
