Tampa Police Investigating Suspicious Person While the man’s behavior is suspicious, we don’t know his true intent. We want to make people in the area aware and to be on the lookout for this man. WHERE: Hampton Park, 16311 Tampa Palms Boulevard West, Tampa WHEN: 8/4 at approximately 1:30 p.m. DETAILS: The victim was at the park with her two small children when the man approached her from behind, grabbed her shoulder and turned her around. The woman screamed and ran. A park security guard heard the screams and saw the suspect chasing the woman. The security guard chased the suspect into a heavily wooded swampy area on the south side of the park, but lost the suspect. He instructed someone to call 911. Officers, air service and police K-9 responded and searched for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. If you know the man in these photos, please call Tampa Police. There are extra officers in the area. Multiple families were at the park and witnessed the incident. The suspect fled on foot.
