Weather Situation A high pressure system centred near New Zealand currently extends a ridge over Tasmania, while a low lies over the Tasman Sea. The ridge will move to the east of Tasmania today, as a cold front slowly crosses the Bight. The front will approach the west of Tasmania late Sunday before crossing the state on Monday.
