TdF 2014 day 3. Into the Whirled singles on my Antique wheel. So many of you post that you shouldnt buy an antique wheel, that you cant spin if you only have one bobbin, that antiques are finicky, you need ratios to spin fine, etc. Please note that this wheel is from 1820. Has only one bobbin and one ratio on the whorl/puly. And it spins like butter. She is, by far, one of the best wheels Ive ever had the privilege to spin on . I get a finer, more consistent single than I ever did on any modern wheel. No regrets. Antiques only for me :)
