Team Justice has been one of the preeminent RLSH teams for years. - TopicsExpress

Team Justice has been one of the preeminent RLSH teams for years. We were the first to acquire 501c3 status. Many of the best recognized names in the community have been members. We have helped other teams establish 501 status and have been instrumental in helping other teams fulfill their missions. Teams like the Initiative Branches, Great Lakes Heroes Guild, Maryland Defenders, and Extreme Justice League have been teams to look up to for their ability to help the citizenry. We’ve always wished we could do like missions, but in our area there is actually very little to be done in that venue that isn’t already being done by people with better connections and more resources. This left us scratching our heads about how best to help for some time. When we looked back at where we had helped most over the years, it became obvious that we help best when we are helping other heroes. So we are making it official that our mission is to help you with your mission. In order to accomplish this, we need to open our ranks to membership. It’s going to be restructured to function like an official organization. There will be regular meetings of members via tinychat and meetings of local members live. There will be defined mission goals. If a member wants to help buy toys for kids at the shelter for Christmas, that’s a worthy mission. Want to adopt a stretch of highway for cleanup, that’s a worthy mission. Buy me a new custom suit? Not a worthy mission. All active members will be allowed to vote on which mission to participate in. The idea is that members can gain assistance with their mission goals. The more people we have as members, the more missions we can accomplish. Many times successfully executing a mission requires manpower and money. In order to help facilitate this, there will be membership dues. These funds go into the treasury to be used to help fulfill active missions and marketing. It will be treated very much like a business in regards to monetary expenditures. The goal is to have enough income to fund as many of the RLSH as possible. I am going to try to run it like the 501 I used to run in Ohio. I’ve already contacted a public relations expert and a professional 501c3 coordinator. I am afraid that it also means that I will have to pull back a bit on the gadget building so I will have time to focus on running Team Justice.
