Team is all now checked in, freshening or freshened up and waiting for team dinner at 7pm. First team arrived at gates at 11:45am & last arrived at 1:30pm. Had soft drinks & beer for some at the gate. Registration was completed whilst team came in. We were then entertained by Bob Marley type singer who then entertained team in bus to hotel. Sweets were distributed to kids on the road on way back. For me personally, it was a great relief when the last climber walked to the gate knowing that all have arrived safe & sound from this tough challenge. I still have to deliver the quads to their parents but the tough part is over. It has been a tough challenge and leading this team made it easier because of the people. Yes, there were times when it was tough convincing people to eat, drink, ensuring everyone is ready on time etc. But it was a great bunch of people. The training over last 7 months was much appreciated. Fact that 16 reached the complete summit, is an testament to level of training. Guides say it is rare for so many in such a group to summit and were amazed that we achieved this feat. So well done to the team. Will I do this again? Hmmm. Never say never :-)
