Teamsters Local 391 Secretary-Treasurer Vernon Gammon met with Senator Kay Hagan this morning in Raleigh to discuss several issues facing our members, including the anti-union loophole Fed-Ex uses under the Railway Labor Act in paying its employees. Gammon also pressed Senator Hagan on collective bargaining rights for our Teamster police officers in NC. Gammon and President Mike McGaha have a follow up meeting with Sen. Hagan in the coming weeks.
