Tears are the most powerful form of prayer. Surely G-d must be hearing them right now as we bang on the gates of Heaven. Baruch shehechiyanu vekiymanu lazman hazeh! Blessed are we that Hashem has brought us to this time, where every Jew in and out of Israel is united in prayer. How lucky I am to be a part of our Chosen People and fortunate enough to be living in our Ancestral Homeland at this time. We pray for the welfare of our IDF soldiers - our DEFENSE force - as they wage battle to protect us and eradicate the evil that is Hamas from this world. We pray just as hard that they do no accidental harm to innocent people. We pray that Hashem guides them to victory without any casualty. We cry, and we pray.
