Tears of joy.. 20 years ago tonight on a hot Aug 1 evening , I was in a tragic car accident where I was lifeflighted to McKennan in Sioux Falls for months suffering from a traumatic brain injury, bleeding and swelling of brain, multiple neck and spine fractures, severe cuts, internal eye and face damage.. After coming out of coma, I began to walk one baby step at a time.. Life changing event but the blessing of all that was the belief in an amazing, awesome, loving, and healing God that brought hundreds of doctors, priests, family, friends, counselors, neuroligists, surgeons, so I can live to tell about it.. So grateful for Bob and Lois McCarty, the late Bill and Norma Altoff, Peterson CRU, and all the rest that rescued me that night .. Sorry I dont remember everyone there, I was sleeping through it!!!
