Tease is to irritate or annoy; to VEX by petty request /irony (the opposite of what is meant) and is an irritating behavior of somebody lacking of self-confidence. If you do it to someone who VALUES you and your Friendship sincerely, then it actually will loosen the bind that that good someone holds for the both of you.
