Tech geeks should start paying greater attention to how changes to products destroy usability by dyslexics. Given that some tool I use updates about every 3 days and it takes me 5 x as long to read up on the changes under the best of conditions, dyslexics like me are often in a position to fight intense sudden frustration or just quit. Im patient under almost all other circumstances, but I just want a button that says, No, its fine the way it is, thanks, because the investment of energy is so skewed and there is too much to do *today* to invest the time in relearning every interface all the time. And I *still* want the old Excel back. If I can buy a phone or a joystick or a toilet bowl handle that emulates Pac Man, I should be able to use the Excel of the 90s.
