Tecol Roofing Contractor and Remodeling, seeks sales representative who will be assisting customers in replacing their damaged roofs. You will be tasked with walking neighborhoods and ringing doorbells to get business and must show excellent aptitude at developing relationships with customers. This will be an excellent way to gain referrals and generate leads. Must be a good listener, because homeowners love to talk. Responsibilities: Generating personal leads by going door to door. Conduct roof evaluations for hail and wind damage. Establishing a good working relationship with homeowner. Once contract is signed, you will be the point person with the homeowner and the insurance company representative. Have knowledge of roofing industry when explaining roofing process with homeowner. Help explain to homeowner the claim process with their insurance company. You will meet with the insurance adjuster. REQUIREMENTS: Prior outside sales experience (not a must, will train). Self-motivated. Good people skills. Must not be afraid to climb up on roofs. Clean cut and dressed well. Be a good listener. Must have a thick skin. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: You must be physically able to climb and haul ladders. Must be able to climb up on top of a roof to assess damage. Must be able to lift over 60 lbs. Must have reliable transportation. Will need to have a vehicle that can haul a ladder. Must have a cell phone.
