Teens now a days have no tradition, no sense of culture or respect. They dont have a clue how to bead or sew. They sit around playing ball or cruising rather then learning our dwindling ways. And yet they still demand respect and hold their heads up high, and for what? You can shoot a 3? You know how to roll a joint? You can borrow money from your mom to get all your flashy cloths rather then work for what you have? Learn a trait, Get into your traditions. Oh awesome you powwow? Can you understand our honor songs? Did you put in the hours to have all that flashy bead work? Did you thank your parents for helping you get all you have? Didnt think so. Woman back in the day woman could make full out fits, carry and take care of children, while tending to the camp and waiting on their men. Just knowing how to dance doesnt make you a part of the circle. Plain and simple. Why dont you take that all in and really think. Its not how you post about native pride, its what you do and all your willing to learn. Playinging in a basket ball tourney and putting native in the team name doesnt make you anymore native. Ask questions. Learn a real trait. Dive into our ways. And for my fellow teens who really grasp that concept #Resect.
