Teens often ask us how tall we think they will be. Genetics and gender account for only 70% of what goes into deciding how tall a child will be. The other 30% depends on environmental factors, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep and underlying health problems. The Khamis-Roche Method is a fairly accurate way to estimate the final height (within an inch and a half of actual growth), but is only reliable in children who have no other known medical problems.
