Tell me if I am wrong FB family but I am sure the police dispatcher told him to stay in his car....So where am I not understanding how killing a 17 year old black male is self defense when he pursued him after he was clearly told to stay in his car. If I am not mistaken he was the agressor when he got out of his car and followed someone because he profiled him like some people do on a daily to others, it is ok to claim self defense on a pursuit. Then you have the woman who shot in the air and did not kill anyone and she stood her ground but got 20 years for a self defense act. So in all of this I am seeing a clear picture of racial division in the law. It is ok for a white man/"hispanic" to kill a black man but if the roles were reversed and the same exact thing happened how many years would a black man have recieved for standing his ground, pursuing a white male for going to the store even after the police told him not to get out of his car. Justice is clearly one sided and it is clear that it is. Look at the President. Never in history has anyone outwardly called our President a liar, disrepected a President on a daily, and accuse the other Presidents of things they were not involved in. Why is it that? Because other Presidents were not of African American Heritage. I am having a problem with the fact that we are all descendants of immigrants and none of us have any more rights than the other and for others to think they are more superior that others is wrong. People put GOD in everything but forget that they will have to face the judgement of mistreatment of others before him. This entire United States and everyone in it will become the subject of another country ruling over us if we do not get our acts together and learn to get along and treat each other fairly and equally. Last but not least what is going on with the North Carolina teachers not getting raises and they are struggling to pay their bills. That is an insult to all teachers who give their all to make sure our children will productive citizens in order to take care of us in the future. How is it a 1st year to 5 year Master level teacher makes $33,088 a year and a 1st year teacher in Texas makes over $40,000 with only a Bachelors degree? Slap me back into reality because this is a huge discrepency. The cost of living in Texas is not much more higher than Fayetteville and the cost of living keeps going up in Fayetteville but no pay is increasing. That sounds like a depression to me does it to you? Either I need to consider leaving the state or better yet leave the country......
