Tempe Community Action Agency announces that effective immediately the Tempe Community Market is suspending operations while it reassesses its future viability. The market, which opened in March 2014, was well-received by the public, but its location limited its schedule and proved not ideal to vendors. “As an organization, we remain committed to making fresh, nutritious foods available in our community,” said TCAA Executive Director Bill Epps. “We’re glad we tested this model and we will use the experience gained as we plan for future programs.”
